Hans Hartmann has been test director since 2007, Executive Vice President of OBJENTIS GmbH in Vienna since 2010 and General Manager of OBJENTIS d.o.o. in Serbia since 2011. – until 2015. He was responsible for research and development of test methodologies. When he was actively involved in consulting at customers‘ sites his main contributions had been development and re-organization of quality departments for software development enterprises. He still acts as assessor for processes and is accredited trainer for ISTQB® and IREB® certifications.

From 1997 till 2002 Hans Hartmann was general test manager at a major European insurance enterprise and from 2002 till 2007 he was chief enterprise architect coordinating developments of France, Germany, Austria and Italy, reporting directly to the board members responsible for IT and finance.

Hans Hartmann has founded central test departments – some of them having a strength of 40 full time equivalents – for financial and industrial companies. In his function as software architect he was responsible for the consolidation of a very heterogeneous application situation. In 2003 a new software system was developed based mainly on his concept of a SOA (service oriented architecture) for the general IT-application portfolio. He was also responsible for the introduction of a new software development processes, based on agile methods and headed also towards CMMI® level improvement.

Hans Hartmann has lectured at the Technical University in Vienna as well as at the Technical University in Leipzig. („Software Engineering of large commercial information systems), in the years between 2000 and 2014 he was speaking at major conferences in the United States, in Germany, Switzerland, Sweden and Austria.
